Not sure what this is...met a Guy at the HWY 127 yardsale (worlds longest yardsale) this year that said he had a razor in a cool box but had taken it home the day before. He'd purchased it while in Poland I believe it was. Anyways here are the pictures, not sure of the stone.

Mostly these stones are Thuris or Schwedensteins...youll see it on the pattern...just lap the working surface

Ive also seen other type of stones glued to them but much rare...

That is an early one, they usually just use a circle saw cut under the strop part. Some like this one had the hone on the outside
The ones I have seen, mine and a couple others on line are Schwedensteins

Peter did a wrote up here!! With this reference to the boxes he showed

"This also explains why a lot this hones were found on these small razor storage boxes, which are equipped with a hone and leather for honing and stropping. The boxes in which the slate pencils had been sold look quite comparable to these razor boxes."

Those shave boxes in various forms were available all over Europe and Russia. I bought one on the cheap from Bulgaria. I have also seen one with a pocket for rouge for the strop.
