Help identifying old barbers hone?

Alright so I was Givin this barbers hone today
And I have no idea what it is...
There are no other markings on the stone anywhere
And the box lost its tags long ago...

Any chance this could be identified? ?
I will need to do a bit of work to get it back into shape but I'll be doing that just for the fun of it anyway even if I don't end up using it
...
