    Found this hone today while out scouting for some cast iron. Looks to me that it's a translucent Arkansas stone along with a coticule slurry stone. Came with a box that clearly didn't belong to the hone. The instructions were a pretty neat read though.Name:  20151114_114842.jpg

    Its a Brazillian Quartz hone which was sold with a Coticule Rubber stone.....its written in the instructions at the End before the Company Name

    They were normally sold with a wooden holder, but it seems you have everything original as it was sold.

    It's hard to believe this is a man made stone. It's so fine and a bit translucent I would have sworn in was a natural stone. Thanks a ton for the info.
