Thanked: 169This one is amazingly soft to hone on. It's a nice change of pace from the french finishers/trans ark/gila I generally finish on if I use something after a coticule. It gives off an extremely keen, but balanced shaving edge.

One of the nice things about the Eschers is they were razor hones. They were advertised as such, and sold as such. The barber's choice was another moniker they stuck on them. I had a light green once. Good hone. Had that back label that came off easily. The older barber scene labels are not easily removed.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
