where do hones go on vacation ?
to ROCK CITY, of course.
Experience Chattanooga’s Iconic Attraction | Rock City
My 8 year old grandson loved this one. He's been blasting me with corny jokes so I had to fire back. He got it because he has been introduced to honing and we have season passes to RC and take him there regularly.

now, now, I can testify that he can hone....he just doesn't like it as much as some other pastimes.....

I've seen some hones up at Dewey Beach in the summer months. You can tell they have been around by the empty spray bottles, and pools of crushed slurry in front of the clubs.

The yellow lake slate I have must hide out in the septic tank because of the stanky sewer and steel smell it gives off when being lapped, so it gets a rub down with Smiths sweet stone oil.
