    Default .25 Micron DMT Card

    Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but I came across someone selling a .25 micron DMT card that was supposedly made by DMT for this person to sharpen scalpels and knives. I am wondering if anyone else seen these since .25 micron is about 30k grit right? Never thought they made anything that high before. Maybe it is a typo and it is supposed to be 25 micron not .25.     Most likely a typo. DMT runs up to 3 micron. 8k level.

    Yea, .25um would be about 60K. Those damn pesky decimal points, probably meant 2.5um that would be closer to the 8k/ 3um that DMT advertises for the Extra Extra fine.

    I use the DMT Extra Fine,1200 and Chrome Oxide strop to sharpen Exacto blades all the time.
