    Default Carborundum 118 2x8x3/4 stone

    Guys,
i found this in some things and wanted to know something about this stone. I plan on using it for knives but before I go to using it if anyone knows anything about it I would love to hear.

    Thanks

Your hone, the 118, is not for razors but is fine for knives and tools.

The 118S is a razor hone that is about half the length of your hone.

Yea. I plan on sharpening my larger knives with it. I have a small stone for my smaller pocket knives but this will be great for my kitchen knives etc.
