    Don't think it's a frankonian. The stripes are too regular. In frankonians these stripes are mostly toxic and disturb honing.

    Frankonian stone isn't very hard either - at least mine's not - laps very easily even with a worn-out diamond plate.

    It appears to look like one but I'm not 100% sure. I'm overdue for an eye exam & I wear prescription eyeglasses. I can still see pretty well, I can just tell my vision has changed within the last few years. I did get a La Lorraine from hatzicho in the past & it looks similar. I could be wrong though. He has some very interesting & nice stones & a lot of knowledge on them & a few more. Great guy!
