Thread: JNAT's in Okinawa

I have a friend traveling to Okinawa and was wondering if anyone knows where I can send him to look for good stones and a kamisori. Thanks in advance for any information about the area.

Okinawa is an island (or a number of islands, with the bigger one called Okinawa) far from Japan mainland; it's closer to Taipei, Taiwan than Kyoto, Japan.
Kyoto has the stones. It is Japan, but not Japan enough for the stones and kamisori to be found there. It is possible to be found there, but I assume the prices would be similar to those in the west.
