I still need a BBW, I've got a Coti inbound for my Birthday and I can't wait for that. The BBW will perhaps end up been one of the La Pyrenees combination stones. That 200x50 with the slurry stone looks very enticing.Real name, Blake

Singer sewing machine super oil. It's the lightest oil I can get locally without having to internet order it. It washed off without a problem with some dish soap.
The next time I hone I think I'm going to try something thicker. Perhaps a 3 in 1 or a light motorcycle oil. My stone doesn't seem to be porous at all so I don't think the clean-up will be hard if it doesn't work.
Like I said my stone isn't a BBW it's a salm/lorraine type so they may not have the same end results.
