Thanked: 0O-SO-EZE Razor Hone
I've enjoyed exploring the site, it's very interesting. I searched high and low but couldn't find any information/history on the O-SO-EZE Razor Hone. The box says it was made in the U.S.A. but other than that I can't find anything on this site or anywhere on the Internet. I'm hoping one of you experts out there will know some history.

I noticed in your other thread you are asking about information on razors.
The question is are you wanting to use the hone, Or are you wanting to sell it. This site does not do appraisals for the latter in any form.
If you are wanting to use it then it's a standard barbers hone, Used to maintain a razor that can already shave and just needs a refresh. You still need a basic idea of how to hone to use one.
The thing that is really important with these is surface condition. A hone that is showing signs of degrading is near useless. Likewise it's not a sharpening stone and will not remove significant metal for setting a bevel to make a razor shave ready.
If you are new to straight razors and you are trying to work out how to use one then have a browse of the FAQ section. It'll answer most of your basic questions. That includes what a barbers hone is and does.
