That's the whole reason I'm asking. I know that my swatys can be lapped with no problem I've even removed some really deep scratches from them. But this one seems like a different material. My biggest problem is the light spot on the front. It's really rough and causes a problem when honing. The back is just fine. I would like to know if I can fix the front. If not I'll live with it.
