I have a (confirmed by Hatzicho) Schwedenstein hone and it doesn't look quite the same.

In that case it's a Thuringian!

Honestly I cannot tell for certain from the photo but I think Doorsch's guess is as good as any. I never have seen this Factum hone apparatus before, but of course it is comparable to many others.

The hone was sold by the Schleifmittel AG (SAG). As a follow up company to Escher&Co they sold thuringian waterhones under different names. I have not come through this factum labelled hones, but it looks like a blue thuringian.
The interesting thing is that on the left side of the label, the shown eagle looks like the symbol of the Adler Schleifmittelwerke, which now belongs to the Friedrich Müller GmbH. I don't have any information so far, if - and when these both companies have joined together and how.

My theory is still that Friedrich Müller just wanted to use a comparable style which was used from SAG before.

Ive seen an Oilstone (Corum) last month which showed the "Eagle" and a Word Mark "SKG" named Schleifmittel KG. Both the SAG Logo and the SKG really look nearly the same....so is this just by instance ? I dont think so...

You see that especially the letters "S" and "G" exactly look the same...

Corum Oilstone was also used under SAG.
