Default Care to Venture a Guess?

Bad picture, sorry. But it certainly caught my attention!

I realize that many, if not all of them, are probably axe hones.

But do you rock hounds have further information you'd care to guesstimate towards these? Like the type of stone, or a specific intended use?

    Thanks for indulging my curiosity!

The two that are narrow on the ends and wider in the middle are scythe hones.

The one with the handle & the circular one that is broken; probably Carborundum brand.

I wonder if the one between the two scythe hones, the one with the handle, is also a scythe hone ? I have a feeling it probably is.

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I would just revive one I made on the same subject!

Anyone care to venture a guess??

I've got just over a day to bet on a mixed lot of tools & utilitarian items. I have no idea what this hone could be... PLEASE HELP.

I would not be surprised if it were. I certainly could use it that way on my scythes. Then again, the one on the far left, on the lower level, also could be a scythe hone. I recently acquired a labeled scythe hone that is rectangular but rounded over in the same manner as that one.

Awesome, thanks guys! I kinda figured that was what it was, but have no experience with naturals. Probably not even worth the $6-$7 bid I was considering putting in...
