    Default Flea market find

So I found a couple hones yesterday. Question is, the orange and white I think is an oil stone (norton?) The combo black probably oil, but the white and the small slate.......
The small slate one came from a ball bearing plant and is supposed to be a fine finisher.

In a way it reminds me of a Arkansas stone I had as a kid about 2.5" long and .5" wide to sharpen pocket knives. But then again I could be wrong. Just looks like one to me.

The first one is a hard akransas, sometimes called a washita and sometimes not, any description will work as it seems to change as time goes on. You can see the mottled novaculite black spots.

Thanks for the info. I think it is an oil hone, it seems to be a fine and coarse combo. The fine side, half seemed to be sealed with something.

Orange/White looks like it could be an India/Arkansas maybe?

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
