Thread: New hone purchases

Got some Arkansas stones delivered. I found a used Arkansas translucent off Ebay for a great price. Also bought a set of Norton Arkansas stones from Amazon. They had a used 4 stone set for an awesome price. Its a 2x4 set with a Washita, hard white, translucent and black. Only problem, for me anyway, they were epoxied in the boxes. Took a lot of work to get them out and cleaned. Took a couple of pics of the translucents. The Norton is the less bright one since it is significanly thicker.
