    Default C-MON Hone

Does anybody knows what side of a C-MON hone to use first? It's got a blue and a brown sides. The brown side is softer and thicker than the blue side.
I guess one of the sides is to finish, but what about the other one? Is it to set a bevel or a medium grinder? Thank you.

Not sure. If you have a means of magnification you could try a few passes on one side and look at the edge, then a few passes on the other side and look again. If it improves the edge or just the opposite you will have your answer either way.

Blue side first then finish on the brown side.

Excellent!! Mine used to have the same label, but it came off and I lost it. Thank you very much, I owe you some cold beers.
