Any Guesses?
I really don't have a clue where to start with this one. It looks like a variation of every stone I have ever seen (with this color).
White balance is a bit off, it is a little more grey than shown but still green/yellow.
It is a nice smooth silky and easy honer that will get you to at least 8k, probably more, I haven't done a lot with this one as I have so many more to get through. Need to try to ID it so I can say with some asurity it is what I describe. Sorta' feels like a thuri, as most other similar stones will.
Easy to lap, easy to slurry (creamy white) and medium speed for a softer stone. Doesn't look any different wet so I didn't include a pic.
Sorry I forgot the ruler.
It is 7 1/8"x1 1/2"x3/4" inches. Both surfaces lapped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. They Call Me Dave; A User of all things usable.....

As mentioned a little more grey. Here are some Sunlight pics
Shadows for sure but the color is closer.

Thanked: 66Sort of looks like this one I found recently, never figured out what it was. Looks like the same color and same black spots.
I took a few guesses but still no clue.

Yup Lynn Idwal is what I was thinking as well. Greenish with black spots or streaks, sometimes off colour waves in the stone.

Thanked: 77Can you post pictures of the sides? I have a stone that looks really similar but it's a Mud slate so I would have to see the sides of yours first

Here are side shots and compared to what is considered to be a Grecian.
