Still trying to get used to honing on it, I took tested with a Robinson that I killed the edge on glass, but noticed it was still very rough on the nail test, so a slight breadknife, then untaped Chosera #600 about 20 laps, Chosera #1000 20 laps, Chosera #3000 15 laps, naniwa O.S.W #8000 about 10 laps.
Then to this Coti and slurry produced by an Arki as Geezer recommended. 50 X strokes while thinning out the slurry, then 100 laps under running water then 20 laps with a goop of dawn soap and water, 50 passes on vintage linen, 50 on vintage leather.

First thing I notice is it not toping arm hairs like one does after the Suehiro 20k.but it does cut he ones when I get closer to skin, but not 'on' the skin.
Shave test went fairly well, first thing I noticed was lack of sound, that Robinson is probably 3/4 hollow 5/8 blade, working off a bad shave from the night before when I was testing a bad honing job (by me) that had lots of area with plenty of growth. Definitely a smooth shave where I felt like it was not working at first, but afterwards, my face is smooth as I would expect.

I think I will try the unicot or dulicot method tomorrow.ssss
