I have seen a plethora of labels here. I could recommend to put some polyurethane or similar over that side to preserve what is left of the label. Some day You might see a match.

This one is devoid of the big Escher label, yet the remains of the little end one tells the tale..

Any chance you could put up a picture of the other end of that label?

Thank you for the assurance! The rumble is over weather or not the label is a esher label or one of the other distributors of thuringian stones. My hope was that someone had an intact example of the same label for reference.

Well i understand now - i think its an another type of thuri maybe - a Celebrated razor hone with the Esher cup inthe midle
Or a genuine razor hone It is definetly some of the diferent brands for the same stone Ihave a wellow green thuri and blue green and a lot of diferent colors and theyre performance is almost the same As i say almost this means that the eshers are a harder and the celebrated are medium and softer but on finishing stage diferencess are almost unsensible
Good size stone by the way .I have it the same collor and it is a killer finisher - blue- gray - purplish with a methal shine and a lot of ultra fine shining particles
Veeery nice edges Shaves like a devil .

Which is another way of saying "Yes, its an Escher"
I have what is likely the same exact size, and I love it.
