    Default Hone identification help?

I'm hoping to find out the identity of this hone? I thought it was a llyn idwal at first but soon realized it wasn't. It's some type of gray slate with a green corner. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Nice little stone, thank you fro sharing. My fist guess would be Schwedenstein hone, many were thin. Or maybe Petrified wood who knows?

Schwedenstein was my first thought too.

It sure ain't a LI--the slurry is a dead giveaway. Creating slurry on a LI would be heck of a challenge.

Schwedenstein definitely fits the propertys of the stone. I happen to be lapping two llyn idwals at the time and they have a ghost wight slurry.

I also do tend towards Schwedenstein, slurry does appear often brownish-red sometimes greenish-gray...

    Here is mine:

Llyn Idwall Slurry is harder to create compared to the Schwedensten, but actually its also possible here to create slurry. The slurry mostly looks grey-white, sometimes mixed with an amount of light green...

Yeah I was going to say, it's not that hard to create a slurry on either of my LI. I'm sure it depends on the individual stone though. Not sure what Aaron's stone is, but doesn't look like LI to me. The color does not look like gray and green on my screen though, it looks like light tan wit brownish streaks.

Not a Schwedenstein in my opinion. Haven't seen such a stone before - so no clue.

Probably an issue of the pictures taken from the OP?

@aaron: can you add some daylight shots of the stone and slurry ? Thanks
