    I have three Nani superstones that I bought about 4 years ago and haven't had a problem. I have 5k,8k and 12k and they get lapped with a DMT as needed. I take Glen's(gssixguns) advice and soak mine a little before use but not long,maybe a minute at longest. I would return yours(the whole set) and get a new set of superstones to replace them.
