    Hi Martin:
Thanks for posting the history and articles on the Carborundum Co.
For me this is the first forum to join.
I am a retired shop teacher, who carves and sharpens, grinds sands etc.
thank you for posting the English Indian head logo graphic.
I have a attached a file, the little sample was only 3" long but quite fancy for the style of the day.
You may use it in your CC article if you wish.
I have an interest in vintage packaging and I have a a small paper give away sample from CC that I am redrawing to make a carved sign.
Inside on the back is a layer of fine Caborundum, just enough to sharpen a pocket knife a couple of times, a good tryout teaser.
As you can see the Indian Head is not clear and I have hunting for a sharper image.
I downloaded the image file of the Indian Head from your article.
I have a request, would it be possible to send me a scan of higher resolution of the Indian Head.
    It would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Is this any better? You might need someone to specifically take a photo for you.

Thanks eKratz for the sharp painting, although I am looking for the black and white posted by Marten, I will keep this one too.

Thanks Martin. I have found my carborundum Coarse/Fine to be a cheap alternative to my DMT. Interesting information here.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

It is pretty dead simple to change photos to black and white in Photoshop or similar programs. I would do it for you but my computer just took a dump.
