Thanked: 0Honemeister needed. (Kansas City)
I'm looking for someone (preferably in the Kansas City area) to take a look at my razor. I recently bought a new razor that is - according to the bladesmith - shave ready. The problem I'm finding is that it doesn't shave as well as my old razor. I'm not sure if it needs to be re-honed or if I'm doing something wrong. My old straight razor was inexpensive, but provided a decent (though not great) shave. It was a good starter blade. The new one is a custom razor, I'm just not getting a very good shave with it. Does anyone in the Kansas City area hone straight razors who would be willing to take a look at my new razor and see what they think?
