Thuringian "Easter-Egg"
Prepared myself a very special stone, a large thuringian "Easter-Egg".
Base material was a nice large piece of thuringian from bluegreen color. The piece had been laying for long time in my grinding workshop, where I had to climb over it to reach some special machines. I decided not to cut it in any way but leave it as natural as it is, just lapped the working surface.
The piece is 30 x 10 x 7 cm at the thickest point, the weight is 4.4 kg. Quite typical for the thuringian slates - a quartz vein affiliates on one side of the rock.

I expected that you used a turning machine and create a real Easter Egg :-)
