Help with hone ID
Got this stone today, tagged as a TOS.
I did some looking thru the net, and seen there were different looking , and grades of this stone.
I can tell you this much, its grayish blue, with light gray specks, and harder than $#!+ to lapp. I've gone thru 3 sheets of 220 wet n dry, and probably 2 more to get it done.
So I'm curious, does anybody know what this might be, or is it a TOS.

'People's hone of indeterminate grit'. That is what Hirlau is joking about!
Guessing it came in that box?...Also guessing you have cleaned it up considerably.
Reckon it's old? Someone will know!

Dammit...!!! "Hirlau"!!![emoji35] [emoji38] .
I hope so, I seen a few pics of TOS's that looked like this one, and were marked as WOA. ....? wouldn't that be the shizzle. Could have got a Deep rock, Droscher, light green Escher, Thurigan, or Coties today, but ain't paying those prices. I've been finding hones as of lately, and not much for razors. [emoji56]Mike
