    Off Topic Alert;

    Rodb I left your edge on that Simmons Hardware I got from you. Rarely do I use someone else's edge on a blade. Darn fine shave ! You can surely hone.

    Okay,,, Back on topic Hirlau !!

    there are a few crazy good Barber hones. This is one of them. Ron can likely list them off alphabetically, the man has a reputation for knowing much about them.

    I think that is unlikely given the stamp.

    I've read there was the PW version and one that wasn't, what is the difference in the stamps?

    I have no idea. All of mine are stamped (imprinted) and I cannot imagine how that could be accomplished in petrified wood (PW). I know that either the Punjab or super Punjab supposedly had a PW side but I have not found one. I have one hone that does seem to have PW on one side but it has no identification.

    Well it was more the theory then a prooved fact that we talk about petrified wood...as you mention its not possible to imprint or Stamp a logo into petrified wood i would say....as said some others appeared unstamped
