    Default Nakayama Hatanaka Maruka Kiita

I got this amazing stone in the mail yesterday. Alex Gilmore of thejapanstone.com helped me select a stone that I could pass down to future generations of my family. It is incredible and he provided amazing service and assistance in picking a premium razor hone.

The stamps are clear, crisp, and vintage. I will get a better picture of the Maruka stamp when I home. The one in the montage I got from his site is hard to see, but it is very clear and in the correct position.

Needless to say, I am extremely happy.

Wow! That is quite some hone. A good few generations worth of honing there.

That really looks like a great hone and stones from Alex are always of best quality and beyond any doubt. Congrats on that beauty!
