Thread: where to find a support for hones while honing

    I use one of these:

    Name:  75427.jpg
Views: 80
Size:  10.7 KB

    Came with a Norton water stone, but you can get them for about 7 bucks from Sharpening Supplies.com. Most of my stones are that same 8" x 3" (200 mm x 75 mm) profile so they fit rather nicely. Significantly smaller or odd shaped hones I just have to hold in my palm.
