Thread: Found Some of My Hones & Stuff!

We are having late Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow & I was out in the "Shop" looking for some self tapping screws to put our big table back together after our move to Ashmore. Anyway as I had posted I haven't been able to find many of my hones , strops & my better razors since the move. Well I found the screws I needed & as usual dropped some of them. I was looking around on the floor & looked in a basket I had not seen & there was the tool bag with most of my good hones & a few other small tools. I was so happy to get my 16K. Shapton & a bunch of my other hones & my diamond spray.Now I just need to find the rest of the hones including my new Shapton Pro 1K. , both of my vintage shell strops & several of my better razors.
Now I can hone up my W&B 15/16" "For Barber use" near wedge with a nice smile. This is one of those not gonna ever be a real pretty razor but it has pretty good scales that aren't to bad & the pins & washers look good. I like to restore as they were built.
This is the style of razor I want to build & now that I have use of a good friends forge I can get started making razors & knives. Can I say I am HAPPY!!
