Just looking at a used Dans stone. In the pics it shows its black with white streaks and translucent to about 1/4". If it was just a hard stone, not the finest grade, would it still be translucent? If this is the finest grade then its a good price but if its a step down, like below the trans stones then its a standard price. So are they all somewhat translucent if you put a flashlight against them?
