    Yes, pasted strops are nice. I have a hanging strop (linen) with CrOx. This gives me an amizingly sharp edge. My backup razor is being kept up with this strop.

    Doing some spine leading strokes, help improve keenness.
    Just like stropping.

    Where was it from ? It looks similar to a la veinette the newer mined ones.

    It is from Ardennes-coticule. Newly mined I guess. But I’m afraid I can’t say which layer. I did not ask.
