Thanked: 315I actually have a BH with two similar colors, but it has the name embossed. Unfortunately I think the binder has deteriorated in mine to!
If you don't have a lot of hones it is easy enough to mistake natural and synthetic. I just sold two small BH at a loss because they looked natural in the pictures when I ordered them and I think the seller put one was an ark in the description. Mistakes happen.

Thanked: 71Definitely looks like a barber hone to me as well, looks like an american hone company (I have one that looks very close to that) my 00 Frictionite is a little different color the layers look similar though.
