I must have a rare hone because I cannot find anything on it!

Can anyone help me out in my search?

I even tried looking up Electronite.

I looked through the recipes and found it. It's from the American Hone Company.

And that's one I don't have.

Try "Carbo 1915"

If you are asking if it also is from AHC, then I don't have to look it up. They made that one too.

It is the same as the "Carbo 1915" Electronite that never needs to be resurfaced. Very good hone.

Thanks for the replies. This one is 2"x 4" and the Carbo 1915 looks a little larger.

I try searching for Electronite and don't get anything.

But then I look up American Hone and in it's great wisdom Google thinks I mean Home!

Good eye ! I went an measured the "Carbo 1915" it is 5 and a half x 2" .

The important question... how does it perform?

I haven't tried it yet but AlienEdge says the material is very good.

And if Utopian says he doesn't have one I am afraid to use it and lower the value to $500,000 or so.....
