    Default Problem with Shapton Pro 12k?

    Hello,
    I got a new Shapton Ha-no-kuromaku 12k und an new Shapton Ha-no-kuromaku 8k. After testing these stones I am not sure whether the 8k ist finer than the 5k Shapton Pro. The biggest problem seems to be the 12k. When I look to the edge with an USB microscope or a magnifying glass I can see big scratches. Also the razor seems to be less sharp after the 12k than after the 8k. Am I doing something wrong or is it passible that the stone has larger particles in it?
