    Default Pearl Barber Hone

    Found a Pearl and a Champion in an antique store today and found Glen's old post that the Champion was a good reference hone, but has anyone had any experience with a Pearl?

    My guess is that a fast cut carborundum is maybe not at the peak of fineness, but it felt about as smooth as the Champion.

    I haven't bought them yet, I was trying to figure out if it was worth it. If it won't improve an 8k edge, it's probably not worth buying/using.
