Default Need help with vintage stone I.D. and info

I bought a Arkansas Whetstone from a flea market but can’t seem to find any info on the maker and stone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Name: 90BD99FD-F5BA-47BC-9C57-1E06BB9FB5D1.jpg

I'd say most likely it's a Washita or a soft Arkansas. Bevel setter, knife sharpener, very all round useful stone. Cuts fast when freshly lapped and gets finer and slower as it gets broken in. Congrats!

I would say soft Arkansas. Great all around stone that can be manipulated by freshing the surface with W/D, DMT, SIC, etc. If both sides are usable then I would keep one fresh and fast cutting while allowing the other side to settle in for a finer edge. Sort of like a combination stone.

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
