Thread: Is this a coticule, or something else?

I'm fairly knowledgeable about straights, but pretty novice about hones. I picked this one up at a flea market as I thought it was possibly a coticule, if not some other natural bi-material stone.

Can anyone give me any ideas? The striations on the yellow side are fine scratches. Thanks guys.
