It may well be a great stone for knife sharpening. Here is the current description from the US eBay site:


The "Black Magic" Natural finishing stone comes from a secret mine, and is an excellent whetstone for kitchen knives. Based on the description, I doubt the stone has every been tested on razors. While having a "razor sharp edge with a bit of tooth" might be what you want in a kitchen knife, I suspect it might provide an uncomfortable shave. I doubt it is anywhere near the level of fineness many of us are looking for in a finishing stone for razors.
