    Default SRD Razor Hone Comfort

Any ideas about this hone? May just be another barbers hone, I know they made a few different barbers hones but they all seem to be stamped where this one isn’t. The pictures aren’t very good but was cheap enough I thought I would take a chance.

I bought one in mint condition this past winter, but I have to admit that I haven't used it yet. So I have no idea if it's good or not. But the reason I bought it is that the brand is well-known for having high quality shaving gear.

That was my same line of thinking, does your hone look the same?

it looks a little different, and the box is a bit different too, so maybe it's from a different era of the company. I'll upload some pics in a few minutes.

there was the remains of a sticker on it (maybe a price tag?), but it looks unused. I should really try it out sometime. But I have so many other projects, this is pretty low on my list.

Dude, that's like a mint time capsule. Thanks for sharing pix.

I haven't used one, but how bad can it be, in that condition, with the SRD name on it?

Joel, that’s what I found when I did a search, stamped barbers hones, whether they were a Comfort or a Quick and Easy, beginning to wonder if it’s the wrong stone for the box, though it looks like a perfect fit.

You're right, it's odd that your hone isn't stamped. But I guess you just need to try it out!
