    Default hone support

    hi

    i really need a advice to choice a hone support while i give them a 'younger edge'. i use also hone but thin DMT so i looke for a support which will not be glissed on them table and will fit the hones i have and also with the DMT's.
    PS: if they existe on aliexpress etc. i would like to know because they are really not too expensives

    yes i look for this kind of stuff. it does slide ont the table while honing?

    You could use some non slip netting on the table to place the hone on. If you need to raise the hone use a black of wood cut to fit the size of the hone and put non slip netting on both sides of the wood block. Not as posh as a universal stone holder but it will do the job.

    I use the holders and the netting Bob showed. The holder is really not needed if you go with a block of wood or rubber and the netting.

    I've set my Naniwa (the ones without the built in stand) on my DMT and it seems to hold them pretty well without sliding.
