Thanked: 3226You could use some non slip netting on the table to place the hone on. If you need to raise the hone use a black of wood cut to fit the size of the hone and put non slip netting on both sides of the wood block. Not as posh as a universal stone holder but it will do the job.
The link is for example only https://dycem-ns.com/non-slip-netting . I am sure you can easily find this stuff.

I use the holders and the netting Bob showed. The holder is really not needed if you go with a block of wood or rubber and the netting.

I've set my Naniwa (the ones without the built in stand) on my DMT and it seems to hold them pretty well without sliding.
