Classic Edge also sells them. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it wasn't that I was dying to have a Zulu Grey. I was curious, but I only took the plunge because of the 50% off sale.

Same for me. I was curious, and at half price for a bench stone, why not?
    From a business perspective.
With the early reviews being all over the place from the next best thing to meh. I don’t think the Zulu Gray stood a fair chance. Too many sure things to compete with it.
The demand for a questionable preforming stone in such a small niche market was probably so small there is no way to make the numbers work. Especially with the half off sale. Unless you’re willing to work for $2 a day.
The equipment, and time to excavate, and transform the extremely hard raw bulk material in to a quality stone is a formula that would require much larger numbers than this market provides.
In all honesty. If it were my time, money, and health I was throwing into the mix. I would have bailed out of this venture too, but I would certainly have handled my exit differently.

    I actually forgot about mine when I got it because it took so long. It's a club, 11 3/4" x 3" x 3/4".
    Hope he didn't get COVID-19.

End of May until I give up on this guy and I will never touch a Zulu hone in my life.

I just filed the PayPal dispute for a Silkvein I ordered on Nov 26th. If any one else ordered around that time and hasn't filed, time is running out. Today is 178 of the 180 days PayPal allows for filing a dispute on my order.

Thank you so much! I had until the 26th to file and sent it in just now. Would've been pissed at myself if I had waited as long as stated and missed out.

I must say, I'm pretty disappointed with this whole situation. I've bought stuff from around the world, dang near every US state, and he is the only one to not deliver. I don't even want to try the Zulu's anymore.

Yeah, you guys had more patience than me-I got my refund a couple of months back. He obviously skipped out with all our money months ago. I don't know how all that works when a vendor does that and PayPal has to refund a lot of money, but I hope they prosecute him for fraud.

John-All that said, it's a great hone, but I understand how you feel when you sour on a person and their products. I've been there on a couple of local contractors, but never in the shaving world except for this experience.
There are many roads to sharp.
