Kramer Zwilling Glass stones
A few months ago my Naniwa Chosera 5k broke in two. Just a tap against another stone and the crazing gave way so i opted to replace it with the Kramer Zwilling 5k Glass stone and i bought the Kramer Zwilling 400 grit glass stone because i do a lot of edge restoration work.
The 5k is just perfect for me, the feedback is pure pleasure. I think it is the old Chosera 5k but with less polishing formula.
The 400 grit is also a pleasure to use and now my go to coarse stone.
I was looking at the Suehiro Gokumyo 10k but now i am set on the Kramer Zwilling 10k as i am a massive fan of my Chosera 10k.
The 1k stone i may leave alone because i do not think the Shapton Glass 1k stone can be beat ..Temptation may see me test that theory.
The stones are reportedly manufactured by Chosera, that maybe a branch of Naniwa or a seperate company, either way i think these stones or at least the 400/5000 versions should be held in high regard .
