    Default Storch waterstone for scythes

Being a volunteer for the Dutch State Forest Management I want to teach myself how to use a scythe to keep paths open and clear invasive bramble bushes. I have got a scythe, still looking for peening equipment. Got this stone yesterday in the mail. It is a natural red sandstone hone, considered the best by some here in Germany. Can't find much about them on www. There's only used ones and NOS available.
Would be interesting to know where they come from etc.

I would like to know if anyone else here uses a scythe and see their hones.
