I do remember a guy about 15 years ago using TP to test his bevel set, seemed to work okay for that
I just found it easier to use the TPT or TNT especially the TNT since it smooths the Fin as you testGasman and panchihming like this."No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"
