    Could you post a picture of the stones it came with?
    Its either a cleaning stone or a slurry stone.
    Don't think its a stone to hone on.

    It looks as if a part of an old hone. likely used on knives, axes, sickles and scythes.

    Nothing to get near a razor with, for certain. Really looks un-natural. India Or a cross-section of a brick.
    Would be my guess.

    It does remind me of a brick as well or chunk of random rock.
