Thanked: 0recent hones and stone list
call me crazy, but this is my up-to-date list minus a couple im sure of my HAD and stone addiction minus the 50+ stones I have made resin bonded diamond wise over the years. Here are a few I cleaned up today from a recent eBay purchase. I didn’t think it was too bad for 89 bucks. Curious what anyone thinks about these recent hones and which ones would be let’s call it highest end or nicest quality of the small bunch here?
does anyone know how to upload a higher quality flickr image for my list?

Thanked: 0I do use them, but these days it is more of a collection than being used consistently started with water stones about 6-7 years ago moved to shapton’s kuromaku’s tried shapton glass stones and they are all awesome went to the spyderco ceramics and kme ceramics, started making my own diamond bonded ones, picked up a tsprof k03 and some boride stones for cheap on ebay. had a huge beard for years and started diving into straights and hones and recently thuringians, turned to things like cheap arks at estate sales, did straights for about 3 years and just moved to my first DE a few months back and of course had to try sharpening the blades for the DE like an addict of sharp things. Kept them shave-able just more tuggy than when they come with the teflon coatings from the factory. hell its wild how much diamond powder, strops, and probably 100 variations of pastes sprays etc ive tried on masses of mediums/substrates. i should start selling a bunch of it. it mostly sits but i like to change up the rotation on things from time to time. im one of those people who dive into something way too deep tbh.

That's way too many. I think you should give all the Arks to me.
