    It's not an Escher., they had those labels that clearly stated their brand name on it. Might be very similar though. I haven't tried an actual Escher, but I got a boxed Thuringian like that and it's a fine hone (bit small though).

    It is not an Escher "brand" but it is of the Thuringer/Escher family of hones.

    I am glad for you SmooveRN! Just be careful you don't get HAD like I have. I think it may be too late. They are great stones just a little small for me. I touched up one of my razors with it and after about 15 laps the edge was greatly improved.

    I think you may be right!

    In my defense I have been a rock hound since I was a little boy, and have a very decent collection.

    You should PM me with some pics of your hones. I would love to see them!
