    Default Escher Label question

I just got an Escher that is labeled "Escher & Co". I have another one that came in a box labeled "J.G. Escher Sohn". How do these two names relate to one another? Are they different companies or do the names reflect different chronological stages of the same company? I assume that it is the latter due to the fact that the advert/instruction text on both is the same.

Same outfit. Might be that the later one with "sohn" stands for & son?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
